Coloured Inserts

Colour-coded inserts are a key part of how the Multi-Shower system is maintained.
Traditional shower heads rely on fixed spray plates that remain in place for the life of the product. Over time, these plates can trap moisture and allow limescale and residue to build up in areas that cannot be accessed or cleaned.
The Multi-Shower system takes a different approach by replacing the fixed spray plate with a removable, micro-sized insert. These inserts perform the function of the spray plate, but can be removed and replaced as part of routine maintenance.
Why colour-coded inserts?
Each Multi-Shower insert is colour-coded to represent a calendar quarter. This makes it easy to remember when an insert should be replaced, without relying on deep cleaning or guesswork.
- Clear visual reminder for routine maintenance
- No need for chemical descaling
- Simple, predictable replacement cycle
How the inserts work
Water flows through the insert instead of a fixed spray plate. Because the insert is removable, there are no sealed cavities behind the spray surface where build-up can accumulate unnoticed.
The simple internal design and smooth surfaces help maintain consistent performance over time, while regular replacement supports long-term hygiene.
Replacing an insert
Inserts are designed to be replaced quarterly using the supplied maintenance key. The process takes seconds and requires no specialist tools.
Full instructions for changing inserts are available via the home page menu.
Part of the Multi-Shower system
Coloured inserts are designed for use with all Multi-Shower shower heads and form part of the overall system approach to reducing hidden build-up and simplifying maintenance.
