Coloured Inserts

Colour-coded inserts
Colour-coded inserts are central to how the Multi-Shower system is maintained.
Most shower heads rely on fixed spray plates that remain in place for the life of the product. Over time, these can trap moisture and allow limescale and residue to build up in areas that cannot be accessed or properly cleaned.
Multi-Shower takes a different approach by replacing the fixed spray plate with a removable, micro-sized insert.
Each insert performs the same function, but can be removed and replaced as part of routine maintenance.
Why colour-coded inserts
Each insert is colour-coded to represent a calendar quarter, making it easy to track when a replacement is due.
- Clear visual reminder for routine maintenance
- No need for chemical descaling
- Simple, predictable replacement cycle
How the inserts work
Water flows through the insert instead of a fixed spray plate.
Because the insert is removable, there are no sealed cavities behind the spray surface where build-up can develop unnoticed.
The simplified internal design and smooth surfaces help maintain consistent performance over time, while regular replacement supports long-term hygiene.
Replacing an insert
Inserts are designed to be replaced quarterly using the supplied maintenance key.
The process takes seconds and requires no specialist tools.
Part of the Multi-Shower system
Colour-coded inserts are designed for use with all Multi-Shower shower heads and form part of the wider system approach.
Each component is designed to reduce hidden build-up, simplify maintenance, and support long-term shower hygiene.
