How to Change Coloured Inserts
Changing a coloured insert
Changing a coloured insert is a simple part of maintaining the Multi-Shower system.
Rather than relying on deep cleaning or chemical descaling, Multi-Shower is designed to be maintained through regular insert replacement.
Each coloured insert replaces the function of a traditional fixed spray plate and can be removed and replaced in seconds.
When should inserts be changed?
Inserts are designed to be replaced quarterly. Each insert is colour-coded to represent a calendar quarter, making it easy to keep track of when a replacement is due.
What you’ll need
- The supplied maintenance key
- A replacement coloured insert
Changing the insert
- Use the maintenance key to release the insert
- Remove the insert from the shower head
- Place the new coloured insert into position
- Secure the insert using the maintenance key

The process takes seconds and requires no specialist tools.
Why regular replacement matters
Regular insert replacement helps maintain consistent spray performance and supports long-term hygiene by reducing hidden build-up inside the shower head.
This keeps maintenance simple, predictable, and avoids the need for aggressive cleaning.
