Coventry University was an early adopter of Multi-Shower, with more than 2,000 units now installed across its accommodation facilities.
The system forms part of the University’s routine planned maintenance approach, using replaceable colour-coded inserts to help simplify servicing and reduce the need for traditional chemical cleaning.
Managing showers at estate scale
Managing shower facilities across a large university estate requires a consistent and practical maintenance approach.
Coventry University’s Estates team describes Multi-Shower as a practical alternative to traditional shower-head descaling. The colour-coded replacement inserts are quick and straightforward for maintenance teams to change.
Supporting planned maintenance
The Multi-Shower system has been incorporated into routine maintenance across Coventry University’s accommodation facilities.
By allowing the insert to be changed independently, the system provides a straightforward way for the Estates team to manage planned shower maintenance across more than 2,000 outlets.
Returning used inserts for recycling
Coventry University also uses Multi-Shower’s Freepost recycling arrangement.
Used inserts are returned to Multi-Shower for recycling rather than being disposed of after replacement, providing a convenient way to manage used components while supporting the University’s efforts to reduce waste.
