Wolfson College Cambridge selected Multi-Shower as part of a campus-wide shower-head replacement programme involving more than 500 units.
The College reported that Multi-Shower was able to meet the required delivery schedule while working within tight timescales and budget.
A large-scale replacement programme
Replacing more than 500 shower heads across an occupied university estate requires more than simply supplying the product.
Wolfson College highlighted Multi-Shower's communication, responsiveness and understanding of the practical requirements of the project.
Supporting the wider water-hygiene approach
Water hygiene was also part of the College's consideration when reviewing its shower heads.
In its reference, Wolfson highlighted the importance of having a shower head that was practical to maintain while supporting the wider water-hygiene requirements of the estate.
Reducing the maintenance burden
The College reported a significant reduction in the time required for routine shower-head maintenance.
Rather than repeatedly cleaning the complete shower head, the Multi-Shower system allows the colour-coded insert to be removed and changed independently.
"The shower head has removed the need for chemicals and has reduced the timescale immensely required by changing the colour coded insert instead of cleaning."

Less disruption for users
Wolfson College also highlighted the practical impact for students, reporting that the reduced maintenance intervention meant disruption associated with shower-head cleaning was kept to a minimum.
The College described the shower experience positively and recommended Multi-Shower following the project.
